New Delhi : Rahul Gandhi, who embarked on a 'Bharat Jodo' journey from Kanyakumari to Jammu and Kashmir, has made it clear that he does not intend to make Hindi the national language alone. At the same time, he has also said that there is no threat to regional languages like Kannada language. The special thing is that there is a lot of debate in the political circles on the issue of language. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin have also reacted to this.

Rahul said this in a conversation with representatives and teachers of several educational institutions on Friday. Senior party leader and former minister Priyank Kharge, while briefing the journalists about the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', said, "Talks were held with Rahul Gandhi about the identity of Kannada. Then he said that every mother tongue is important. We respect all languages. Everyone has the right in the constitution.

Kharge, who is in charge of the media cell of the Karnataka unit of Congress, said, "So he (Rahul Gandhi) clearly said that there is no intention to make Hindi alone as the national language and there is no threat to the identity of your language (Kannada). .' He said the people who participated in the talks confirmed that they were not associated with the Congress party but were participating in the yatra to save the Constitution.

Rajeev Gowda, chairman of the Research Department of All India Congress Committee, said that most of the people who participated in the talks raised the issue of problems in the education sector after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power and implemented the National Education Policy.
