S Jaishankar: In view of the Delhi Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has further intensified its campaign. In this sequence, senior party leader and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also joined the campaign. He claimed on Saturday that in the elections to be held on February 5, the people of Delhi will throw the 'Aam Aadmi Party' (AAP) government out of power because people have been deprived of their rights in the last ten years.Prime Minister Modi's guaranteeJaishankar, while addressing the South Indian community at the JLN Stadium, said that the BJP's manifesto is the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He announced that if the BJP comes to power, many benefits will be provided to women including Rs 2500 every month, Atal canteen, and free treatment for the elderly above 70 years of age.Foreigners are also showing interest in Indian schemesExternal Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that many foreign leaders are eager to know about India's welfare schemes. He said that foreign leaders ask him questions to get information about free ration, houses for the poor, free gas cylinders under the Ujjwala scheme and other welfare schemes. Jaishankar also said that the number of people who have been given houses in India is more than the population of Japan, and the number of people who have got LPG cylinders is more than the population of Germany.Central government schemes not implemented in DelhiThe Foreign Minister also said that he hesitates to tell foreign leaders that the benefits of many central schemes are not being received in the capital of India, Delhi. Targeting the Aam Aadmi Party government, he said that the Delhi government has not implemented Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana and Housing Scheme, due to which the people of Delhi have been deprived of many facilities.Decline in Delhi's developmentJaishankar said that being the capital, Delhi should have become a model for the best work being done in the country, but it has lagged behind in the last 10 years. It is worth noting that the Aam Aadmi Party has been in power in Delhi since 2015. He claimed that during this time the condition of many basic services in Delhi has deteriorated.Talking about the rights of the publicS Jaishankar said that water, electricity, LPG cylinder, house and health care are the rights of every citizen, but the people of Delhi have been deprived of these for the last 10 years. He called upon the public to vote on February 5 and decide whether they should bring this government back to power or not.Electoral equationVoting is to be held on February 5 for 70 assembly seats in Delhi, and its results will be declared on February 8. This election will see a triangular contest between AAP, BJP and Congress. BJP is aggressively carrying forward its campaign and is preparing to give a tough challenge to the Aam Aadmi Party in this election.
