After shifting a chat in the current archive, it does not come up on the main chat list until a new message arrives in it. At the same time, now with the help of the company's new archive feature, users can permanently chat the chat and even after the arrival of new messages, it will not appear in the main chat list. The company is currently rolling out this feature for the beta version and soon its stable version will also be made available.

Set the playback speed of the voice message

This is the latest feature of WhatsApp. With this help, you can set the speed of the received WhatsApp voice message according to your need. The company is offering three options - 1x, 1.5x or 2x to set the speed of voice messages. The toggle to set the speed will appear on the right side of the voice message's seekbar. The speed of the voice message can be changed by tapping this toggle. This feature is being rolled out for Android as well as iOS.

Mute video before sending

Users were waiting for this feature a lot. With the help of this feature, users can mute the video to be shared before sending. This feature is currently available in the latest version of WhatsApp Android. To mute the video, go to the contact's chat and select the video you want to send from the phone gallery. After selecting the video, you will see a small speaker icon in the top left. After tapping on this speaker icon, the video will be muted.

Make video and voice calls from desktop app

This feature of WhatsApp is very much liked by the users. Till last year, users could only do video and voice calling from the mobile app, but now this feature has come for the computer as well.
