Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is on a visit to China these days. Amidst the poor economic and political situation of Pakistan, China is giving it confidence. According to the report of Jin's news agency, Jinping has promised Sharif that he will speed up the CPEC project. For a long time this project seemed to be going on hold. Now Jinping has said that he will help Pakistan in the development, transportation and economic activities of Gwadar Port. However, Pakistan has no idea that China may not make its condition like Sri Lanka.

Let us tell you that China had a big hand behind Sri Lanka's bankruptcy. Big Chinese projects were going on in Sri Lanka, even after their completion, they were still occupied by China. At the same time, about 51 percent of Sri Lanka's foreign debt was from China. In the bad times of Sri Lanka, China shunned itself. Now Pakistan also has no other recourse other than China. The Pakistani economy has been in darkness for many years. Corona made the situation worse. After this, the economy was further devastated by severe floods.

Let us tell you that India has been objecting to the project which China and Pakistan are talking about speeding up. The China Pakistan Economic Corridor passes through PoK. India has said in a stern tone that this amounts to hurting our sovereignty. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also fiercely told China in a meeting of SCO and exposed the nexus with Pakistan. This project of a rail, road and gas pipeline from China's western Xinjiang region to Pakistan has been put on hold for several years. Now China has promised to accelerate this.

It is part of China's Belt and Road Initiative. In the midst of this lies the great selfishness of China. He wants to ease his trade in Central Asia through this route. Xi said there is a need to improve the infrastructure of Gwadar Port. At the same time, Xi has also promised to reduce the speeding of the railway line connecting Karachi. This project is quite old but remains incomplete. It was closed in 1999 due to economic losses. It has been partially started after 20 years in 2020.

On the other hand, if we talk about the political situation of Pakistan, then it seems that civil war will break out in the future. Imran Khan has announced his second rally and he says that till the elections are announced, the protest against the government will continue. Imran Khan has even threatened that if the army tries to stop him, then his supporters are ready to take his iron. At the same time, there has been opposition to CPEC in Balochistan for a long time. People here say that China wants to take advantage of local resources. The Baloch Liberation Army has also claimed responsibility for several attacks on Chinese civilians in Pakistan.
