Pakistan News: Mushal Malik, wife of separatist leader and jailed Yasin Malik in terror funding case, has got a big responsibility in the Government of Pakistan. He has got a place in the cabinet of Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq. Mushal Malik will be the Special Assistant to PM Anwar ul Haq. He took oath today (Thursday). Apart from Mushal Malik, Jalil Abbas Jilani has become Foreign Minister, Sarfaraz Bugti Home Minister, Dr. Shamshad Akhtar Finance Minister, General (R) Anwar Ahmed Defense Minister. The cabinet of Caretaker PM Anwar ul Haq has taken oath today.

Mushal Malik and Yasin Malik were married on 22 February 2009 in Rawalpindi. When Yasin went to Pakistan in 2005, he met Mushal. Mushal is a graduate from the London School of Economics. Mushal's mother Rehana Malik has been the secretary of the women's wing of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz). Whereas, his father was an economist. Talking about Mushal's brother, he is an expert in foreign affairs. Mushal lives with her sister in Islamabad.

Yasin is in jail for 4 years

Yasin Malik is in jail since 2019. He was arrested in the 2017 terror funding case. NIA had registered a case against Yasin. In May last year, a Delhi court convicted Yasin and sentenced him to life imprisonment.

Yasin Malik was convicted on all charges including the stringent UAPA. He was accused of terrorism and separatist activities that disturbed the Kashmir Valley in 2017. Yasin Malik had told the court that he was contesting the charges against him including sections 16 (terrorist act), 17 (raising funds for terrorist act), 18 (conspiracy to commit terrorist act) and 20 (being a member of a terrorist gang). not doing.

Yasin was born in 1966 in Maisuma area of Srinagar. He is also facing trial in the 1989 kidnapping of Rubaiya Sayeed, daughter of the then Union Home Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, and the JKLF terrorists' attack on Indian Air Force personnel in Srinagar. Four people were killed in this incident.
