Bhopal: Corona epidemic infection continues to spread. The effect of which is now visible on the examinations of Madhya Pradesh Secondary Education Board (MP Board) as well. In fact, in view of the fast pace of transition in the month of April, the board is now considering to extend the date of 10th-12th examinations.

It is to be noted that the examinations of 10th and 10th of May from 1st of April are going to start from 12th of May. If sources in the ministry are to be believed, the date of board examinations will be decided on April 12 in the review of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. During this meeting, the Chief Minister will also discuss the current situation in all the districts with the collectors.

Preparation for conducting exams with open book system

At the same time, the exams of 9th and 11th are scheduled to start from April 13-14. The board is preparing to conduct these exams with an open book system. Regarding this, School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar said that the department has been instructed to conduct the examinations on time. However, on how to conduct 9th-11th examination, options are being considered at the governance level.

Schools are closed in many districts

Please tell that due to increasing corona infection, the preparation of examinations is being significantly affected. At the same time, till April 15, it has been decided to keep the schools and colleges closed in Bhopal, Jabalpur, Indore, Betul, Chhindwara, Khargone and Ratlam. In such a situation it is difficult to prepare for the written examinations of 9th and 11th. In such a situation, the government is also considering to conduct both exams with open book method.

Refusal to give general promotion

Earlier, the Higher Education Department has already decided to conduct undergraduate first-second year and post-graduate second semester examinations by this method. On one hand, the board is preparing for the exam according to the dates fixed. If the corona infection subsides by April 15, the examination will not proceed. Because the board has already issued instructions to manage the rescue of corona at the examination centers. The reason for this is that the government has refused to give general promotion.
