UP Budget 2023 / 3600 crores for free laptop, Yogi government gave many big gifts to the youth

UP Budget 2023 : The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is presenting its second general budget in the Legislature on Wednesday. Uttar Pradesh's Finance Minister Suresh Khanna while presenting the Yogi government's budget in the Assembly in a poetic manner said, "Yogi ji's budget has been made, of UP's happiness. It will make the coming Holi wonderful." The Yogi government's budget was special for the women, farmers and youth of the state. Making a big announcement for the youth, the Finance Minister said that a provision of Rs 3600 crore is proposed in the budget for the financial year 2023-2024 to provide tablets/smartphones to the eligible students of Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme.

Under the UP Startup Policy-2020, startups are being promoted in the fields of agriculture, medicine and health, energy, khadi, education, tourism, transport etc. 50 incubators and 7200 startups are working in the state. Under the policy, operations have been started in the field of artificial intelligence in PGI Lucknow, IIT Kanpur and Noida campus.


An arrangement of Rs 100 crore has been made for the promotion of incubators and seed fund for startups. A provision of Rs 60 crore is proposed for the Uttar Pradesh Information Technology and Startups Policy.


Rs 20 crore has been proposed for the Agriculture Accelerator Fund with the aim of encouraging young entrepreneurs to set up agritech-startups in rural areas. More than 12 lakh youth were trained in 06 years through the skill development mission under the scheme of training students studying in state secondary schools in employment oriented vocational courses/skills and 4 lakh 88 thousand youth were employed in reputed companies. Done.


A provision of Rs 10 crore is proposed for providing financial assistance to young advocates for purchasing books and magazines for the first three years of work and Rs 5 crore for corpus fund for young advocates.
