Pollution In Delhi: The level of pollution in the air of Delhi has reached the severe category. The Air Quality Index (AQI) has crossed 500 in many areas of Delhi. Meanwhile, the AAP government of Delhi has taken a big decision that the entry of trucks and diesel vehicles will be banned in the city. Trains will be diverted on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Apart from this, 50 percent of the employees will work from home. For this advisory will also be issued to private offices.

Delhi government constituted committee

According to the Delhi government, a committee of two members each from Transport, Traffic Police and DPCC has been formed, which will get it implemented. A letter will be written to the ministers of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh to divert trains from the Eastern Peripheral Expressway at the very beginning. This will get rid of the jam situation.

500 private environment bus service will start

Explain that instructions have been given to the Transport Department to start 500 private environmental bus services inside Delhi. This will help in curbing the increasing pollution. There is already a ban on construction work in Delhi.

Environment Minister Rai said this

Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that 50 percent employees of Delhi government will work from home. Private offices have also been advised to follow this. The Delhi government has constituted a 6-member committee to oversee the implementation of measures to curb pollution. The Delhi government has decided to implement the restrictions imposed by the Air Quality Index Committee of the Central Government under the last phase.

Odd-Even scheme may be implemented

At the same time, CM Arvind Kejriwal said that from Saturday, primary schools in Delhi will be closed and sports activities will not be allowed in the schools for students of classes above fifth. He said that we are also considering to implement the odd-even scheme for vehicles.
