Their age is between two and a half to five and a half years. The average lifespan of a cheetah is usually 12 years. Namibian Veterinary Doctor Ana Busto is accompanying the plane to bring the cheetahs safely.

First shifting in the world of large carnivorous wildlife

This is the world's first project of shifting large carnivorous wildlife. An agreement was signed between India and the Namibian government on 20 July 2022 to bring the cheetahs that would be released into the park's quarantine enclosure.

There will be 500 cheetahs in the country, then we will agree to re-arrangement

According to experts, the re-arrangement of cheetahs in India will be considered when the number of cheetahs here will be 500. To meet this target, 8 to 12 cheetahs will be sent to India every year from South Africa and Namibia. Apart from this, the genealogy of cheetahs in India will also be involved in this. During this, a complete blueprint of the living standards including the living standards of cheetahs has been made on the basis of international level standards.

The naming will be done only after the study of the nature of cheetahs

Cheetahs will be named after studying their temperament. Every wild animal has its own nature. Some like humans, some are aggressive. Park's DFO Prakash Kumar Verma says that their caretakers will also be appointed for the cheetahs. The experience of all the caretakers will be taken on record. After this the naming will be done. This may take up to three to five months.
