New Delhi : AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi once again targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Owaisi, who came into the limelight with his frivolous statements, this time congratulated PM Narendra Modi and attacked the government on the issues of Muslims.

Addressing a gathering in Humnabad, Karnataka on Saturday, Asaduddin Owaisi said, "Congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for changing the political landscape of the country so much in the last eight years that even secular parties no longer raise the issues of Muslims.

The Hyderabad MP hit out at Congress and JD(S), saying, "Muslims have no importance in Indian politics now." Muslims have become ATM machines for political parties who only seek votes from the community. Owaisi said, 'But you should think whether the political parties want your side or Allah...no one is with you.'

It is worth noting that a day earlier, Owaisi made a big statement even before the India and Pakistan match in the T20 Cricket World Cup. Taking out the Muslim angle before this match, Owaisi had said that he wants Mohammed Shami and Mohammad Siraj to play well. Apart from this, Owaisi also raised questions on the match to be held in Australia. Why is India now playing matches with Pakistan?
