Curfew continues in Rajasthan's Karauli city after stone pelting, arson and disturbances on Hindu New Year rally. Two more accused have been arrested by the police late Tuesday night on charges of violence. Earlier 20 people have been arrested. The police have produced seven accused in the court on Tuesday and have taken them on remand for one day. The 13 accused are already on two-day police remand. So far the police have arrested a total of 22 accused.

The Department of Fertilizers is continuously supplying milk, vegetables and other essential items including ration in the violence-prone areas. Even after this, essential goods are not reaching in most areas of the city. Due to this people are facing problems. Police teams are patrolling the sensitive areas and monitoring them. People are being advised to stay at home and maintain peace.

So far, the police have registered a case against 35 people for inciting and inciting violence. In this, the names of Councilor Matlub, Rajaram Gurjar, husband of former Mayor of Jaipur Greater Soumya Gurjar and office bearers of Hindu Sena have also been included. Police are raiding from place to place in search of them.

Demolished two houses that were burnt down

Here, on Tuesday, the city council team reached Futakot, the violence-prone area. In the presence of the magistrate, two buildings damaged by the arson were demolished. Both the houses were completely burnt in the arson. Due to the possibility of an accident, the city council team demolished the house.

SIT team reached the place of stone pelting

The SIT team investigated the stone pelting site in Hatwara area. During this, the search and interrogation of the accused involved in the violence was also done. A delegation of Congress and BJP also reached Karauli on Tuesday afternoon to take stock of the situation. The Congress Committee visited the city after discussing with the Collector and the SP. After this, the committee discussed with the members of the peace committee in the collectorate auditorium.

BJP delegation met the riot victims

The BJP delegation met the BJP workers and the victims of the riots at the Circuit House and inquired about the incident. After this he also visited the riot affected areas of the city. Let us tell you that Karauli is an attacker on the BJP government regarding the violence. BJP leaders are constantly targeting Chief Minister Ashok Galhot regarding the law and order situation of the state.

Curfew can be given some relaxation

According to the information, a meeting of administrative officers is going to be held in the city on Wednesday. Along with the public representatives, people of both the communities can also participate in this. The situation in the city will be discussed in the meeting. It is believed that some relaxation in curfew can also be given if consent is obtained.

What is the matter

The incident of stone pelting came to light in Karauli on March 2 at a bike rally taken out on the occasion of Hindu New Year. Due to this the atmosphere in Hatwara market became tense. More than 35 shops, houses and bikes were set ablaze by the miscreants. In view of the deteriorating situation, first section 144, curfew and then internet service was stopped in the city. 43 people, including policemen, were injured in the violence, while the condition of a person named Pushpendra was critical. He is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Jaipur.
