Haryana government had made this demand

Goa Police was investigating the Sonali Phogat case. However, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had already said that there should be a CBI inquiry into the matter. He had said that if the family is not satisfied with the investigation of Goa Police, then this case should be handed over to the CBI. The team of Goa Police was engaged in gathering evidence for the last several days by visiting Gurugram, Noida and other places.

Let us inform that on August 23, Sonali Phogat died under suspicious circumstances. He was brought dead at Anjuna Hospital in Goa.
