CJP Leader Abhijit Dipke Plans Next Move After Jantar Mantar Protest Ends

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has officially concluded its intensive protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. This significant decision was made following the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, which was one of the primary demands of the protesters. The demonstration, led by the CJP, had been ongoing for more than a month, specifically lasting for 36 days. The protest was sparked by the NEET exam paper leak controversy and the tragic series of student suicides that followed. After the central government reportedly accepted all the conditions laid out by the protesters, the long standing sit in at Jantar Mantar was finally brought to an end.

Abhijit Dipke on Future Strategy and Punjab Issue

Following the end of the protest, CJP founder Abhijit Dipke has broken his silence regarding the party's future course of action, while dipke stated that the party is currently in the process of planning its next steps and will reveal the details of this strategy very soon. He emphasized that since the Delhi protest had only concluded recently, the leadership requires a small amount of time to finalize the upcoming roadmap. During his interaction, Dipke also touched upon the alleged paper leak in Punjab, stating that the party is actively planning its response to that situation as well. He mentioned that they would speak on the Punjab issue in detail once the planning phase is complete.

In a strategic move, Abhijit Dipke met with senior advocate Kapil Sibal on Sunday to discuss legal and procedural matters. One of the critical points of discussion between the CJP and the government remains the FIRs registered against various students during the course of the protests. Dipke confirmed that talks are ongoing with the government regarding these cases. He maintained a firm stance that no cases should be registered against any student, and the party is working to ensure that the legal challenges faced by the students are resolved through these negotiations.

AAP Dismisses Punjab Paper Leak as Propaganda

On the other hand, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has come out strongly against the allegations of a paper leak in Punjab. Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia termed these reports as propaganda orchestrated by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress, while sisodia claimed that in the last 4 and a half years of the AAP government in Punjab, not a single paper leak has occurred. He accused both the BJP and the Congress of spreading rumors through paid trolls on social media platforms to tarnish the state government's image.

Manish Sisodia further clarified the situation by stating that the incident being referred to wasn't a paper leak but an attempt at cheating. He explained that in a university in Punjab, some students attempted to bring a smart pen equipped with Bluetooth into a classroom with the intention of cheating. However, the university administration was vigilant and immediately confiscated the device, followed by prompt police action against the individuals involved. Sisodia took a swipe at the opposition, stating that their lies have led them to a state where one party is ignored by the public and the other's Education Minister has been forced to resign.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann Details the Enforcement Action

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also issued a detailed statement to clear the air regarding the alleged paper leak. Reaffirming Sisodia's claims, CM Mann stated that during the 4 and a half years of his government, there has been no instance of a paper leak in the state. He provided details about the specific incident where cheating was attempted at two locations. According to the Chief Minister, students were using Bluetooth pens to digitally scan the question papers and send them outside the examination hall to receive answers, while the perpetrators were reportedly charging between 3 to 5 lakh rupees per paper for providing these solutions.

The Chief Minister highlighted the efficiency of the state's enforcement agencies, noting that the cheating students were caught within 10 minutes of the exam starting. Also, the individuals who were operating from the outside to solve the papers were also apprehended. In total, 21 people were arrested and sent to jail in connection with this cheating attempt. CM Mann emphasized that the swift action taken by the administration prevented any compromise of the examination process, distinguishing this incident of attempted cheating from an actual paper leak.
