Rajasthan Budget: Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari presented the interim budget in the Assembly on Thursday. The full budget for financial year 2024-25 will be presented in July. Dia Kumari announced that a provision of Rs 1000 crore has been made for the areas which do not have hospitals, schools or need to be upgraded. A provision of Rs 1500 crore has been made for the development of roads. Not only this, Diya Kumari told that more than Rs 1,39,000 crore is still outstanding from the power companies.

Cylinder started available for Rs 450

While presenting the budget, Diya Kumari said that we have started working on the guarantees given by Prime Minister Modi. Giving gas cylinders to women for Rs 450 has been started and relief has been given to more than 70 lakh families. Also, Rs 1000 crore has been announced for upgrading hospitals and schools. Rs 1500 crore has also been announced for the development of roads. The Finance Minister said that the government will work to install solar units on the houses of 5 families. Along with this, 500 electric buses have also been announced in Jodhpur.

Recruitment will be done on 70 thousand posts in the state

While presenting the budget, Diya Kumari announced that recruitment will be done on 70 thousand posts in the state. Like Kisan Credit Card, Gopal Credit Card has also been announced. In the first phase, 5 lakh cowherds will be linked to it. Besides, it has also been announced to change the name of Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Scheme. Dia Kumari said, "Chiranjeevi Yojana has now been named Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana. Day care treatment for cancer will also be included in this scheme.

Lado incentive scheme will start

It has been announced in this budget that Lado Incentive Scheme will be started in Rajasthan. Under Lakhpati Didi Yojana, the income of women from 5 lakh families will be increased by more than one lakh. Under Lado Protsahan Yojana, a savings bond of Rs 1 lakh will be given if a girl child is born in a poor family. Not only this, under PM Matru Vandan Yojana, the amount given to women on first delivery will be increased from Rs 5000 to Rs 6000. 90 crores will be spent on this. An Anganwadi at every block level will be made the norm. 20 crores will be spent on this.

Rs 1,000 crore allocated for education and health

Let us tell you that under Article 116 of the Constitution, the interim budget is presented to meet the necessary government expenditure for a limited period till the budget is approved. It is provided for a certain number of months at an amount equal to one-sixth of the total estimate. The Finance Minister of Rajasthan has proposed to allocate Rs 1,000 crore in the interim budget for the establishment and upgradation of schools, colleges, hospitals in the assembly constituencies.

Electric buses will run in Jaipur-Jodhpur

He told that soon 500 electric buses will run in Jaipur and Jodhpur. Work on this scheme has also started. In the budget speech itself, he also announced to change the name of Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Scheme. Said that now the name of this scheme will be Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana. He told that now day care treatment of cancer has also been included in this scheme.

Police will be modernized with Rs 200 crore

The Finance Minister emphasized on modernization of police in his budget speech. Said that cases of cyber crime have increased rapidly. In such a situation, Rajasthan government will spend Rs 200 crore on modernization of police this year. Necessary resources will be mobilized especially to stop cyber crime. Along with this, he has announced to start Anti Romeo Squad in Rajasthan on the lines of Uttar Pradesh. He said that such squads will be formed in every district.
