In the village of Hasanpur-Razapur under Sarurpur police station area of ​​Meerut, some youths took off the scheduled caste groom from the mare and beat him after running. Women who intervened were also subjected to indecency and assault. Seeing such a situation, the people of the scheduled society stopped Ghuchardi in the middle. However, later the police assured security and the ritual was completed again.


According to the information, Sachin's son Jasvir, a resident of the village, was to go to the wedding on Tuesday. On Monday night, the family members were completing the ritual of Ghudchadhi in the village itself. It is alleged that some youths of the village started indecency by taking the groom off the mare during the horse ride.


When the relatives opposed the assault, the accused ran and beat the groom. This caused a stampede. The ghurchadhi program has been stopped. The women raised an alarm and pleaded for protection, but no one came forward. Later on the information reached the police station. By then the accused had fled from the spot.


The police sent the guests from there. After this, the ritual of Ghudchadhi was completed on Tuesday morning. Police station in-charge Dinesh Pratap Singh said that there is a dispute going on between the two sides regarding some issue. During the scuffle, there was a fight. On Tuesday, the procession left after a whirlwind. Efforts are on to arrest the accused.
