Earthquake Delhi - NCR : Earthquake tremors were felt in the national capital Delhi and NCR region on Sunday and they were so strong that frightened people came out of their homes and buildings. Apart from Delhi, there are reports of earth shaking in other cities of Haryana including Noida, Ghaziabad. However, there is no news of any damage in the earthquake. Since it was a holiday, people were at home and when they suddenly felt the vibration, they all ran outside.
According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of 3.1 magnitude occurred at a depth of 10 km in Faridabad area at 4:08 pm. Earlier, after an earthquake of 6.2 magnitude in Nepal on October 3, strong tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR and other parts of North India. The National Center for Seismology had said that the epicenter of the earthquake was recorded at 2.40 pm in Talkot area of Bazhang district, 700 km west of Kathmandu.
