Meanwhile, TMC hit back sharply over the Union Minister's comments and said that the summons issued by central agencies are politically motivated to harass the opposition parties. TMC leader and state government minister Shashi Panja said, "BJP should not talk about corruption because their leader Subhendu Adhikari's name is mentioned in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) FIR in the Narada scam and he is still Roaming free. He should not speak against Banerjee because she cooperated with central agencies.
