Firing on father and son in Rohtak / Eight miscreants rained bullets, angry villagers ransacked the vehicles of the attackers

In Khedi village, three kilometers from Meham in Haryana, the attackers who came in two vehicles opened fire on the father and son on Sunday afternoon. While the son narrowly escaped, the father was seriously injured by three bullets. Angry villagers pelted stones at the vehicles of the attackers. The attackers fled leaving the vehicles on the spot.

According to preliminary information received from the police, Balram Singh, a native of Mokhara, lived in Gohana some time ago. Later he built a house in Khedi Meham. Around 1:00 pm on Sunday, Balram was sitting at home with his father Shamsher, 50. Suddenly eight miscreants arrived in two vehicles and fired indiscriminately at both of them.

Balram saved his life by entering the house but his father was seriously injured by three bullets. Neighbors got enraged by the incident and pelted stones at the vehicles of the attackers. The attackers fled leaving their vehicles on the spot. After getting information about the incident, Maham ASP Hitendra Meena, SHO Inspector Prahlad Singh reached the village along with the police force and took possession of the vehicles. Also the injured Shamsher Singh has been admitted to PGI. Police is investigating the incident. After all, why did the attackers fire indiscriminately on the family of Balram Singh.
