According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the AQI in Delhi is in the category of 249 (poor). There was fog in the city in the morning. Because of this the visibility also reduced. Delhi's air quality was recorded in the poor category on Wednesday as well. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the temperature is expected to drop by two degrees Celsius in the next two to three days.

CAQM holds review meeting

Let us inform, in view of the improvement in air quality, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) held a review meeting on Monday. After this, the third phase of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP-3) was ordered to be removed with immediate effect. Please tell that GRAP-4 has already been removed in Delhi-NCR. In such a situation, the rules under Grap-1 and Grap-2 will continue to apply here.

GRAP-3 phase was implemented on 29 October

CAQM implemented the GRAP-3 phase on October 29, after which construction and demolition works were banned in Delhi-NCR. Now after the new order, these restrictions have been removed. In such a situation, construction and demolition works can be resumed in NCR. However, the concerned agencies and people have to strictly follow the rules of dust control.
