So far 14 people have been arrested in the violence in Delhi's Jahangirpuri area, including a man named Aslam, who is accused of firing in the procession. Even before this, a case is registered against him in Jahangirpuri. Delhi Police has registered the first FIR in this case.

According to the FIR of Delhi Police, as soon as the procession reached the C Block mosque, a person named Ansar reached there along with some of his companions. After this, he started arguing with the people involved in the procession. From here the ruckus started and on sight the violence broke out. After this there was a stampede in the procession. Appealing to stop the stone pelting and maintain peace, the police tried to separate the two sides, but after a few minutes, slogans and stone pelting suddenly started again from both the sides.

At the same time, a 20-year-old youth named Aslam, who fired in the procession, has also been arrested. Along with this, the pistol used in the crime has also been recovered. So far, 14 people have been caught by the police in this violence. Rapid Action Force and heavy police force have been deployed in view of the tension in the area. Police is engaged in further investigation.

A total of nine people, including eight policemen, were injured in the violence. All are being treated in the hospital. 10 teams have been formed to probe the violence. The Ministry of Home Affairs has given instructions to maintain law and order. At the same time, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has appealed to the people to maintain peace.
