Major accident in Andhra Pradesh / Five people lost their lives in saving the train from accident, know what is the matter

Five passengers were crushed to death after they were hit by a train in Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam on Monday night. Another passenger was seriously injured in the incident who has been admitted to the hospital. Railway and local police have reached the accident spot and started investigation. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed grief over the incident.

Five people died in the process of saving the train from crashing

The accident took place on Monday night at Batuva village in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. According to eyewitnesses, the deceased passengers were traveling in the Guwahati Express train when they saw smoke coming out of it and during this time the chain pulled. And after that he got off the train and stood on the track. Just then another train Konark Express came from the opposite direction and crushed them. The train was going from Bhubaneshwar to Visakhapatnam.

Two of the dead were residents of Assam

Two of the dead have been identified as natives of Assam. Officials said that others were being identified. The injured person, who has been admitted to the Srikakulam General Hospital for treatment, hails from Odisha.
