Rajasthan | A major accident took place on Saturday in Rawatbhata area of ​​Chittorgarh district in Rajasthan. Four girls died due to drowning while taking bath in the pond of Tamlav village here. All four of them had gone to take a bath in the pond. During this, she drowned in the pond due to slipping of her feet and she died.

According to information received from police sources, two daughters of Pappu Singh Rajput, resident of village Tamlav of the area, Asha and Nisha and brother Surendra Singh Rajput's daughters Chinki and Nikki had gone to bathe in the pond located outside the village. There a girl slipped her feet and started drowning in a deep pond. In an attempt to save her, the other three sisters also drowned in the deep water of the pond. When the family members reached the pond when the girls did not return home even in the afternoon, they came to know about the drowning of the girls. After this the matter was reported to the police.

As soon as the information was received, a large number of villagers gathered there. Helping the divers called by the villagers and the police, the four girls were rescued later in the afternoon. But by then all four had died. The bodies of all the four were brought to Rawatbhata Hospital for post-mortem and handed over to the relatives. The age of the four girls is said to be ten to twelve years. The incident has spread grief in the village. Police have registered a case of premature death.
