Cricket | Sharing a post on Twitter, India's legendary spinner Amit Mishra has given an update about the fitness of Indian team's star fast bowler Deepak Chahar. Chahar has been away from cricket for a long time due to injury this year. Given the upcoming T20 World Cup, the availability of Deepak Chahar is good news for the Indian team.

Amit Mishra has shared two pictures on Twitter, in which Deepak Chahar is also seen. The fast bowler has been running out of the Indian team since February. Deepak Chahar suffered a hamstring injury during the home T20I series against West Indies, after which he injured his back during rehab at the NCA to participate in IPL 2022. Deepak Chahar was bought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 14 crore in the IPL 2022 auction, but the fast bowler could not play a single match due to injury.

According to Amit Mishra's Twitter post, the pacer has regained fitness and is likely to make a comeback soon. Sharing a picture during the training session, Mishra wrote, "Good news for CSK fans. He is fit and will be ready to play for Team India and CSK very soon. Congratulations Deepak Chahar.

In an interview with The Telegraph last week, Chahar himself gave an update about his recovery and said that he is looking forward to achieving prime fitness ahead of the Indian team's selection for the Zimbabwe tour next month.
