New Delhi. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has canceled the board exams for class 12 students. This information has been given by the State Education Minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasama. The decision comes a day after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) canceled the class 12 board exams. An official statement said that the GSEB board exams were to be held from July 1 to 16.

Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama had earlier said that 1.40 lakh students of science stream and 5.43 lakh students of general stream (arts and commerce) are expected to write class 12 board exams.

How will the 12th students pass without exams The board will give its information soon. A notice has also been issued by CBSE in this regard. In which he has said that soon a formula to pass the students will be introduced. However, like class 10th, students of class 12th are also likely to be passed on the basis of internal assessment. Apart from this, the performance done in ninth, 10th can also be included. The formula adopted by CBSE to pass the 10th students. At the same time, it can be applicable in 12th also. In this, 20 marks can be given in combination with internal assessment, 80 marks in the whole class test or other paper.
