Doctors have advised people to stay indoors between 12 noon and 4 pm and drink plenty of water. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), pre-monsoon activities will intensify in Udaipur, Kota, Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions from Saturday. Light rain with thundershowers is also expected in Jodhpur and Bikaner. This is expected to bring down the temperature by 2-3 degrees.Strong wind alertThe IMD has warned that heat wave will continue in Jodhpur and Bikaner, but after noon, some areas are likely to be cloudy and strong winds are likely to blow at a speed of 50 to 60 kmph. Light rain may also occur at some places.
