India / Indian Railways canceled these trains before Holi, also diverted the routes of many trains

New Delhi: The festival of colors Holi is coming closer. In such a situation where Indian Railways is running many special trains for the convenience of the people, on the other hand, routes of several trains are being diverted.

Railways tweeted information

Tweeting from its official Twitter handle, Western Railway said, "Routes of several trains are being diverted due to work related to interlocking of railway line on Dhrangadhra-Sakhiyali section of Ahmedabad Division. While some long distance trains running on this route are being canceled.

These trains will remain canceled: -

1. Train number 09116/09115 Bhuj-Dadar-Bhuj special train will be canceled from 21 to 23 March 2021.

2. Train number 02974 Ahmedabad (Puri) -Gandhidham special train will remain partially canceled on March 20.

3. Train number 02973 between Gandhidham-Ahmedabad (Puri) will remain partially canceled on 24 March.

Route divert of these trains: -

1. Train number 40311 Bareilly-Bhuj Special train will run via Palanpur-Bhiladi-Sakhkiali on 20 March and 23 March.

2. Train number 04312 Bhuj-Bareilly special train will run on the 23rd and 24th March from the Samakhiali-Bhiladi-Palanpur route.

30 Holi Special train gift

It is worth noting that Indian Railways has recently announced to run 30 special trains keeping in mind the demand of passengers going home on Holi and the possible congestion. These trains will run between several cities including New Delhi, Patna, Gaya, Varanasi, Ambala, Saharanpur, Barauni, Lucknow and Katra. View complete list: -
