Jaipur. Action plan has been prepared to completely remove oxygen shortage in private hospitals of Rajasthan. The Medical and Health Department of the state government has issued an order making it mandatory to install oxygen plants in all the private hospitals of the state in two months.

In the orders issued by the government, it is said that it is mandatory to install oxygen plants in all the private hospitals in the state which have 60 or more beds. Medical and Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma said that in the second wave of corona epidemic, the hospitals are in the most need of oxygen. In such a situation, the government is arranging oxygen through all possible measures.


At least 50 percent of the beds must be connected to the oxygen system

He said that in addition to government Kovid dedicated centers, 50 percent of the beds in private hospitals where there are 60 or more beds are required to be provided with oxygen. Centralized oxygen pipeline should be established in such private hospitals and at least 50 percent beds should be connected to this system. He said that in order to get continuous oxygen to the patients through this system, it is mandatory to set up an oxygen generation plant in the hospital within 2 months.

Special relief package can be availed

Regarding the establishment of Oxygen Generation Plant in private hospitals, Siddharth Mahajan, Government Secretary, Medical Department, said that a special relief package has been announced by the state government's industry department for this. Private hospitals can set up these plants by taking advantage of this.
