There is news that Congress may have to suffer huge loss in the elections in Kamal Nath's stronghold Chhindwara because Kamal Nath's special supporter and three-time Congress MLA Kamalesh Shah has joined BJP. Kamlesh Pratap Shah is currently the MLA from Amarwara reserved assembly constituency under Chhindwara Lok Sabha. Today Kamlesh Shah has taken membership of BJP in CM House.

Kamlesh Shah is the leader of heavy portfolio

It is noteworthy that Congress had control over all the seven assembly seats of Chhindwara. It includes Chhindwara, Junnardev, Amarwada, Parasia, Sausar, Chaurai and Pandhurna. Kamlesh Pratap Shah has been the President of Harrai Janpad Panchayat for 10 years and was also the President of Congress Committee Hardoi Block for 10 years. After this, he was elected a member of Chaudhary Assembly in 2013 and then became MLA for the second time in 2018 and became MLA for the third time in the assembly elections held last year. Amarwada MLA Kamlesh Shah took membership of BJP along with former president of Hari Municipality and his wife Madhavi Shah and District Panchayat member and sister Kesar Netam.

On Kamlesh Shah joining BJP, Rural Development Minister Prahlad Patel said that Kamlesh ji belongs to a very prestigious family. Has joined Bharatiya Janata Party due to the working system of the Prime Minister.

Even before this, Kamal Nath has suffered a big setback. Ajay Saxena, son of Deepak Saxena, considered a confidant of Kamal Nath, has joined BJP. Ajay Saxena is the son of Deepak Saxena, who vacated his seat for Kamal Nath in the 2019 elections. Deepak Saxena was made the pro tem speaker in the assembly during the Kamal Nath government. Not only this, when there was speculation that Kamal Nath might join BJP, Saxena was the first to give a statement in his favor.
