Jaipur. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department in Rajasthan, which is scorching due to the scorching heat, the weather has changed. After Saturday evening, rain and storm occurred in many areas of Rajasthan after dust storms. On the other hand, gram-sized hailstones also fell in some areas including Jaipur and Dausa. People have got some respite from the scorching heat as the mercury dropped due to storm and rain. This relief is likely to continue on Sunday as well. According to the Meteorological Department, this change has come in the weather due to the active western disturbance in Rajasthan. Even today, there is a possibility of rain with dust storms and thunder in some areas of the state.

After the scorching heat in Rajasthan for the last several days, Saturday evening brought some relaxation. There was scattered rain in Jaipur in the evening after a dusty storm. There was light rain in some areas for a while and in some places there was slight sprinkling. Chickpea-sized hail also fell in Adinath Nagar of Jaipur. There was no limit to the happiness of the people seeing the hail shower amidst the scorching heat of the body.

Hail also fell in Dausa district

Due to the change in weather in Dausa district adjoining Jaipur, it rained and hail fell somewhere. Gram-sized hailstones fell in Bahrawanda area of ​​Dausa. Rain occurred in some areas of Lalsot, Nangal and Sikrai region. Dust storm also occurred in Jhunjhunu district of Jaipur division. Due to the storm, there was a power outage in the rural areas. Along with this, due to strong winds in Karauli area, there was power outage in many areas.

Mercury may drop by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius

Director of Meteorological Department Radheshyam Sharma said that due to the effect of western disturbance, there is a possibility of rain along with thunderstorms in the districts of Jaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Bharatpur and Kota divisions on Sunday. He said that in these areas, winds will blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. The mercury may drop by 2 to 4 degree Celsius in the next 24 hours itself. Due to this, the people of the state will also get relief from heatwave.

Possibility of hailstorm on May 23

Director of Meteorological Department Radheshyam Sharma said that the maximum effect of western disturbance will be seen on 23 May. During this time the weather is expected to change in many areas. He said that along with the possibility of thunder and thunderstorms and rain, hailstorm can also be seen in some areas.
