Rajasthan Election 2023: Unhappy with BJP's decision, MLA Chandrabhan Singh Akya and 34 other office bearers have resigned from the primary membership of the party. The workers started resigning after BJP gave ticket to Narpat Singh Rajvi. MLA Akya says that he had already submitted his resignation letter but it was not accepted by the party. In such a situation, resignation is being given for the second time.

MLA Chandrabhan Singh Akya, who rebelled after giving ticket to Narpat Singh Rajvi, has filed his form as an independent candidate on Monday. He has decided to contest the elections. As soon as the nomination process was completed, the round of allegations and counter-allegations started among the leaders. After the ticket of the MLA was canceled, many workers came out in his support. From the same day many workers started resigning but it was not accepted by the party. After filling the form as an independent, MLA Chandrabhan Singh Chauhan along with 34 of his office bearers today resigned from the primary membership in the name of District President Mitthu Lal Jat. MLA Chandrabhan Singh Aja said that he has been active among the people of Chittor and in the assembly constituency for about 10 years. Have stood in the happiness and sorrow of the people. At the same time, Narpat Singh Rajvi did not come to Chittorgarh for 15 years nor did he take information about the people of Chittorgarh. Even when he was an MLA, he never took care of the people of Chittorgarh, most of his time was spent in Jaipur. Despite this, the party gave ticket to Rajvi, which hurt the public and BJP workers.

He said that the nomination has been filed only on the request of all the workers and the public. This is not the election but my people are fighting. Even before this, more than one and a half thousand workers and officials had tendered their resignation, which was not accepted by the party. During this, former MLA and Chairman of Land Development Bank Badrilal Jat, former UIT Chairman Suresh Jhanwar, former Municipal Council Chairman Sushil Sharma, Colonel Singh Rathore, Municipal General Secretary Anil Inani, Om Prakash Sharma, Rajan Mali were all present.
