Hanumant Rao was angry with the party leadership

Announcing his resignation from the legislature and party through a video message, Hanumanth Rao said that he will soon tell which party he will join. Let us inform you that Hanumantha Rao is the sitting MLA from Malkajgiri constituency of Greater Hyderabad and BRS had decided to field him again in the upcoming elections. However, he was angry with the party leadership for ignoring his son Rohit Rao's demand for a party ticket from the Medak constituency.

CM had announced Rao's name

Hanumanth Rao said that as per the wishes of the people of Malkajgiri, their supporters and well-wishers from remote parts of Telangana, he has resigned from BRS. He assured the people of his constituency that as long as he is alive, he will stand with them and continue to serve them. Let us inform that Hanumanth Rao's name was included in the list of 115 candidates announced by BRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on August 21.

Rao had targeted the Health Minister

Hours before the announcement of the candidates, Hanumanth Rao had made serious allegations against Finance and Health Minister T. Harish Rao. He had said that Harish Rao ruined the political careers of many leaders. He had even threatened that if his son was not given the ticket from Medak constituency, he would contest the elections as an independent candidate. However, BRS has decided to field Padma Devender Reddy, the sitting MLA from Medak, again.
