Decline in new cases for the fourth consecutive day in Delhi

12,527 new corona cases were registered in Delhi on Monday. This is the fourth consecutive day that there has been a decline in the daily cases. On January 13, 28,867 new cases were registered, on January 14, 24,343 cases were found, on January 15, 20,718 and on January 16, 18,286 cases were registered. The positivity rate in Delhi is 27.99%.

There has been a decline of 5,837 in active cases in Delhi as compared to Sunday. On Sunday, 89,819 cases were registered, which came down to 83,982 on Monday.

10 thousand new cases decreased in Maharashtra today, Mumbai decreased by about 2 thousand

In Maharashtra, 31,111 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, which is 10,216 less than Sunday. On Monday, 29,092 people were discharged and 24 deaths were recorded. 122 cases of Omicron were found in the state today. Now the total active cases have gone up to 2,67,334.

In Mumbai too, the process of decreasing new cases continues. 5,956 new cases were found on Monday, which is 1,939 less than Sunday. However, since the start of corona infection in the metro city, the number of patients found so far has crossed one million. 12 people died on Monday.

1. Maharashtra: Infection rate in Mumbai reduced from 30% to 13.7%

Here, the good news is that the daily infection rate in Mumbai has come down from 30% to 13.7%. However, the Maharashtra Kovid Task Force says that it will have to wait 1 week to know whether the corona has reached the peak or the peak is ending.

2. Karnataka: Number of active cases crosses one lakh

4. Delhi: Cases decreased by 13% in Sunday as compared to Saturday
