According to a release issued by the Meteorological Department on Thursday, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan this week. At the same time, light or moderate rain is expected in Chhattisgarh (22-25 July), Vidarbha (23-25 ​​July), Madhya Pradesh (21-25 July) during 5 days. At the same time, widespread rain may occur over Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal and Sikkim during these days.

IMD has informed that there is a possibility of moderate rain in the areas adjoining NCR (Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida) Bharwala, Hansi, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Mahendragarh on Friday. At the same time, there may be rain in Chandpur, Modinagar, Jatari, Khair, Iglas, Raya, Hathras, Mathura, Tundla, Firozabad, Shikohabad and Rajgarh in Rajasthan in the next two hours.

According to the IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rain in South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe on Friday. Also, there may be heavy rains in Saurashtra, Kutch in Gujarat. There is a possibility of very heavy rain in both these areas of Gujarat on July 24.

Heavy rain warning issued in Odisha

According to the language, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Center has issued an 'Orange Alert' for heavy to very heavy rain at some places in Boudh, Balangir, Bargarh, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal and Kalahandi districts on Friday. The Meteorological Center has predicted rain in some areas of Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Angul and Subarnapur on Saturday.
