When the officer of the CSP outlet checked the financial status of Vipin Chauhan using his Aadhaar card number, he found that an account was already created in his (Vipin Chauhan) name. 'Only Aadhar card number is mine, thumb impression or sign, no photo' in the account
Regarding this, Vipin Chauhan said, “I have contacted the concerned bank branch and the officials have checked the details of the account. It was opened on 13 October 2016 and in February 2017 there was a transaction of crores of rupees in the account. Bank official I could not trace my photograph, signature or thumb impression. Only Aadhar card number is mine. At present, Rs 9.99 crore is still pending in the account."
Account opening form not found in bank
Bank officials searched the account opening form but it was not found in the branch. An official of Union Bank of India said, “After the matter came to our notice, we have frozen the bank account. Internal investigation is on to find out whether other accounts were used in transactions with this account. had gone."
