Vipin Chauhan, a daily wage laborer, came to know that he had Rs 9.99 crore in Union Bank of India, Supaul branch. are present. Interestingly, a laborer named Vipin Chauhan claims that he never opened an account in any bank.

Chouhan, a native of Sisauni area of ​​Bihar's Supaul city, had visited Union Bank of India's Customer Service Center (CSP) outlet on Thursday to open a job card for MGNREGA. When the officer of the CSP outlet checked the financial status of Vipin Chauhan using his Aadhaar card number, he found that an account was already created in his (Vipin Chauhan) name. Rs 9.99 crore is deposited in the savings account in the name of Vipin.

'Only Aadhar card number is mine, thumb impression or sign, no photo' in the account

Regarding this, Vipin Chauhan said, “I have contacted the concerned bank branch and the officials have checked the details of the account. It was opened on 13 October 2016 and in February 2017 there was a transaction of crores of rupees in the account. Bank official I could not trace my photograph, signature or thumb impression. Only Aadhar card number is mine. At present, Rs 9.99 crore is still pending in the account."

Account opening form not found in bank

Bank officials searched the account opening form but it was not found in the branch. An official of Union Bank of India said, “After the matter came to our notice, we have frozen the bank account. Internal investigation is on to find out whether other accounts were used in transactions with this account. had gone."

Earlier, crores of rupees have also come in the account of farmers and students.

This is not the first case in Bihar. 52 crores had arrived in the bank account of Ram Bahadur Shah, an elderly farmer of Singari village of Katra police station area of ​​Muzaffarpur district of Bihar.
