The atmosphere heated up after an attack on a local Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader on Wednesday night. People took to the streets and demonstrated against the attack. The VHP leader is being treated at a hospital in Bikaner. In view of the tense situation, internet services have been suspended in Nohar, Bhadra, Rawatsar of the district. It is being told that the clash started with opposing the molestation case. In fact, in Nohar, a woman and a man had complained to VHP leader Satveer Saharan about some youths sitting in front of the temple, the youths often molested the woman. After coming to know about this matter, Satveer reached out to the youths for questioning, after which the youths started quarreling. During the clash, the youths hit Satveer in the head with an iron rod, injuring him seriously.
The injured Satveer was referred from Nohar to Hanumangarh, from where after first aid, Satveer was referred to Bikaner. After getting information about the incident, there was anger among the workers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the situation became tense. Bajrang Dal and VHP workers blocked Nohar Rawatsar road in protest against the attack.
Angry people raised slogans against the administration, as soon as the information was received, the administrative officers also reached the spot. Hanumangarh District Collector and SP handled the situation. At the same time, during this, the agitated people demanded the immediate arrest of the accused, warned not to stop the demonstration if they were not arrested. Police have rounded up two people, search is on for others.
