While in power, we should raise this issue.

Gehlot released the video

Earlier, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot released a video amid the pilot's fast. In the video of 6 minutes 49 seconds, he made several announcements for the people of Rajasthan. He kept his point focusing on the inflation relief camp starting from 24th April and its benefits. Mentioning 10 important schemes announced during the budget session, he appealed to the people to get relief from inflation relief camps.

Earlier, ignoring the warning given by the Congress party, Sachin Pilot did a one-day 'fast' on Tuesday demanding action in the cases of alleged corruption during the tenure of the previous Vasundhara Raje-led government. He sat on hunger strike at the Martyr's Memorial from 11 am to 4 pm. A large number of Pilot supporters were present at the protest site, although no major face of the party was visible. For this fast, a tent was set up near the martyr's memorial. Only Sachin Pilot sat on the small stage made there. His supporters and other workers sat down around.

Pictures of Mahatma Gandhi and Jyotiba Phule were kept near the stage. Behind the stage, 'Fast against corruption in Vasundhara government' was written with only Mahatma Gandhi's photo. The Congress party termed Pilot's move as 'anti-party'. A statement of state in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa was issued in the party's local media group, according to which Pilot's fast is against the interests of the party and is an anti-party activity.

On the other hand, BJP's state in-charge Arun Singh tweeted, "The ruckus in Rajasthan Congress came on the streets." Why Congress people are silent in Gehlot government's atrocities on women, Dalit exploitation, mine scams and paper leak scam? Who is responsible for the death of priests and saints, due to appeasement, the misery of the anti-majority government is certain.
