Nuh Violence: The failure of the police is also being blamed for the violence that started in Haryana's Nuh from Monday. It is being told that in the initial period of the violence, the situation was not properly reviewed by the police administration and no preparations were made at the ground level to prevent such a huge ruckus. Adequate number of police force was also not deployed during the yatra. Nuh's SP Varun Sinhala was on leave, due to which the police could not show promptness in time and the matter got bigger. On the other hand, the local intelligence of the police has also failed to collect many important information.

In the absence of District SP Varun Singla, ASP Usha Kundu was handling the law and order responsibility of the district. While the additional charge was with SP Lokendra Singh of Palwal. In such a situation, at the time when the violence started, the police could not assess the situation accurately and soon the ruckus took a big shape. However, to control the violence, central forces have been deployed in the district at present.

At the same time, the local intelligence input of Haryana's CID Department and Nuh Police, who did not give timely accurate information to the police about the stones being collected for stone pelting on such a large scale as well as petrol bombs and other weapons. Nor was the information made available to the police about people from other communities gathering in large numbers around the route of the yatra.

There is no coordination between police and CID department

In this entire incident, there was no coordination between the Haryana Police, which comes under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of Haryana, and the CID department, which reports directly to the CMO. No intelligence report or input from the local intelligence to the CID department was sent to the Haryana Police. The tussle regarding police and CID in Haryana was visible from the first day of this government.

There have been differences regarding CID from the beginning

Politics is also held responsible for the lack of coordination between the police and the CID. Because shortly after Manohar Lal Khattar became the CM, he issued a notification directing the CID to work directly under the CMO. On the other hand, State Home Minister Anil Vij kept on saying that CID is a part of the state police.

Since then, there has been a constant tussle between Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Home Minister Anil Vij regarding the CID report. Now after the Nuh incident, the lack of coordination between the police and the CID is clearly visible. Regarding the violence, Vij said that the State Home Department has not received any intelligence report regarding the violence.

Action was taken on the basis of intelligence input in the month of April

In the month of April, 70 people from 14 villages of Nuh district were arrested on the intelligence input regarding inflammatory posts on social media and that is why the police was expecting that this time also some similar input would be received but nothing like this happened. Youths from Monu Manesar and other communities openly posted provocative videos on social media, yet neither those who posted provocative posts on social media were arrested nor the threats given in these videos were taken seriously.

Adequate number of police force not deployed

After the news of Monu Manesar's participation in the yatra, despite threats being given by both sides on social media, the Haryana Police had deployed around 400-450 policemen and home guards in the name of security, while the number of miscreants It was more than that.
