Delhi: The police-administration is on alert regarding the possibility of a procession after the Friday prayers. To deal with the miscreants, about 3500 soldiers have been deployed from Albert Ekka Chowk (Sarjana Chowk) of Main Road to Jhanda Chowk in Doranda. This includes IRB, Jharkhand Jaguar, District Force personnel along with two battalions of RAF. All DSPs have been assigned the responsibility of security in sensitive areas. SSP Surendra Kumar Jha said that if anyone takes out a procession after the prayers, they will be arrested immediately.
The QRT team of all the police stations is also keeping an eye on it. The SHOs have been asked to patrol continuously. Police's technical and cyber cell team will be keeping an eye on various social media platforms from morning. If any provocative post is made then he will be arrested immediately. DIG and SSP are looking after the security arrangements. He said that additional forces are also deployed in the control room and CCTV cameras are being used to monitor the entire city.The security of the city will be in three layersThree-layer security arrangements have been made to deal with the miscreants.
