In the Kovid review meeting on Friday, CM Captain Amarinder Singh said that the employee who has not received a single dose of the corona vaccine, will be sent on forced leave. The deadline for this has been fixed till September 15. Only those employees will be exempted from this order, who cannot get the vaccine due to health reasons.

Captain Amarinder Singh said that this step has been taken to save the people of Punjab from Corona, so that those who have got the vaccine, do not have to pay the price of constant hesitation with the vaccine. Apart from this, he has allowed those teaching and non-teaching staff to join duty, who have taken a dose of vaccine at least 4 weeks ago. However, they will have to submit a weekly RTPCR negative report of the Kovid test. Those who have any other diseases together and have taken both the doses of Kovid, they will have to give this report only once.

Anganwadi center will open only if the staff is fully vaccinated

Apart from this, the Captain has given permission to the Social Security Department to open Anganwadi Center in Punjab this month. For this, it is mandatory for the staff to be vaccinated. Punjab will be the first state in the entire country to open Anganwadi Centre.

restrictions related to covid extended till 30 september

The Punjab government has extended the restrictions related to Kovid till 30 September. The limit for gathering all types of crowd during the festival season has been increased to 300. It also includes political rallies and events. It will be mandatory to keep mask and social distance here too. At the same time, it is mandatory for the staff of such programs to have both doses of the Kovid vaccine.

Joint Flying Squad for checking restaurant and marriage palace

Captain Amarinder Singh asked DGP Dinkar Gupta to strictly implement the restrictions of Kovid in Punjab. The DGP said that after the reduction in the corona case, people have started easing about the mask. The health department should strictly implement it with the help of the police.

The Captain asked Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan to form a joint flying squad of police and administration. In every district, such teams will raid the restaurant, marriage palace and other such places and check the rules of Kovid.
