Rahul Gandhi calls 2024 lok sabha election illegal and targets CEC gyanesh kumar

Senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, delivered a sensational political speech during the 'INDIA' bloc's public impeachment event organized against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar. Rahul Gandhi openly accused that the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in the country were entirely illegal. He stated that the Election Commission's own figures and processes testify that those who reached the Lok Sabha today, meaning the Members of Parliament belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party, reached the country's parliament through illegitimate means, while a large number of opposition leaders, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs, and common citizens were present at this event, where a resolution to initiate impeachment proceedings against Gyanesh Kumar was unanimously passed.

Elaborating on his point, Rahul Gandhi presented startling statistics to the audience. He claimed that 13 crore 30 lakh voter names were systematically deleted from the electoral rolls across the country. This directly means that the name of every one in seven Indian voters was made to disappear without their consent, which constitutes 15% of the total Indian electorate. Rahul Gandhi emphasized that all these voters had allegedly cast their votes in the previous general elections, while despite this, the total vote margin between the opposition parties and those who won the election was only 3%. He raised a pointed question that when the winning margin was merely 3% and the Election Commission itself is now stating that 15% of these voters shouldn't have voted, it automatically proves that the 2024 general election can't be called a legal election.

Launching a direct attack on Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, Rahul Gandhi warned that he won't be able to retain his position as CEC for long. The Congress leader claimed that he and the opposition already possess enough irrefutable evidence to prove beyond doubt that Gyanesh Kumar is unfit to hold this high constitutional office. Rahul Gandhi stated in clear terms that even after bringing all these proofs and facts before the public, if the Bharatiya Janata Party remains adamant about keeping him in this position, the true political game and conspiracy of the BJP will be completely exposed before the citizens of India.

Terming this public impeachment program not just a gathering, but a dangerous and potent political weapon, the Congress leader said that this weapon directly targets all those high-profile faces who conspired together to ruin the votes of ordinary Indian citizens. This list includes names ranging from Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Warning those sitting in power, Rahul Gandhi said that they can't always hide behind the shield of an institution and sooner or later, they will have to face the true representatives of the people of India.

Designating Gyanesh Kumar as their primary target, Rahul Gandhi said that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah might be at the very top of this entire establishment and the opposition will deal with them in due course, the CEC and the five to seven officials working under him are merely pawns of these top leaders. Because of this, Gyanesh Kumar is the opposition's first target. Rahul Gandhi warned that if Gyanesh Kumar or the five to seven officials working under him think that some constitutional or administrative safety shield will protect them, it's their grave misunderstanding. He requested them with affection to understand the prevailing mood of the country and observe the political weapon being unleashed on the streets of Delhi.

Concluding the address, Rahul Gandhi strongly demanded that Gyanesh Kumar shouldn't only be impeached but should also face a formal trial in a court of law on charges of treason against the nation and subverting democracy so that true justice can be delivered. During the course of this event, all prominent leaders of the 'INDIA' bloc endorsed this historic resolution to bring impeachment against Gyanesh Kumar and passed it unanimously.
