Rahul Gandhi In Parliament: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has returned to Parliament after about 4 months. He was sentenced to 2 years in the Modi surname case, after which the membership of Parliament was snatched away. But when the Supreme Court stayed the sentence, Rahul's membership was also restored. When Rahul reached the Lok Sabha on Monday, it happened after 137 days when he was again called an MP. Rahul Gandhi reached the Lok Sabha at 12 noon on Monday, here the leaders of the opposition welcomed him at Gate No-1. Rahul Gandhi sat inside the House for some time, but the proceedings of the House were adjourned shortly. Earlier, when Rahul Gandhi's Parliament membership was restored, sweets were distributed in Mallikarjun Kharge's office in Parliament and opposition MPs celebrated.

In March, Rahul lost his membership of the Lok Sabha, in July he got a setback from the Gujarat High Court and now in August he has got the membership again. Even though Rahul did not go to the Parliament in these four months, his aggressive attitude against the government did not subside. Rahul continuously targeted different issues through social media.

March 23, 2023: In an appeal filed by Purnesh Modi, a court in Surat sentenced Rahul Gandhi to 2 years.

24 March 2023: After this, Rahul Gandhi lost his membership of Parliament and he stayed away from contesting elections till 6 years after the sentence was over.

7 July 2023: The Gujarat High Court rejected Rahul Gandhi's appeal against the 2-year sentence and upheld the sentence.

4 August 2023: The Supreme Court stayed Rahul Gandhi's sentence and with this the way was cleared for Rahul's Parliament membership to be restored.

7 August 2023: The Lok Sabha Secretariat reinstated Rahul Gandhi's membership of Parliament.

Rahul will use strength in opposition unity

When Rahul Gandhi was not an MP, a major change happened that the opposition parties tried for unity. During this time INDIA's alliance was formed and then it was believed that Rahul Gandhi is out of the race for the post of prime minister because he was not a parliamentarian. But now the sentence has been stayed and Rahul Gandhi has returned to the electoral and parliamentary process. If Rahul is now an MP again, he will be able to aggressively attack the government and at the same time he will have a chance to lead the India coalition.

Will surround the government in the discussion of no confidence motion

The Monsoon session of the Parliament seems to end completely amid the uproar over the Manipur issue. The opposition was firm on the demand that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should give a statement on this issue, when this did not happen, the opposition brought a no-confidence motion. The discussion on this is to start in Parliament from August 8, after which PM Modi will reply on August 10.
