The Meteorological Department says that in the next two hours, there may be rain in Delhi and its adjoining areas, Rajasthan, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh. Alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department especially for Delhi and Rajasthan and Haryana. The department has predicted that there may be rain in and around Rohtak in Haryana, Pilani, Alwar in Rajasthan.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in nearby cities like Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurugram and Faridabad. In fact, for the past several days, the havoc of heat wave is being seen continuously in these states. If it rains, then there will be some relief from heat wave and the temperature is also expected to remain low for the next one or two days. A rain alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department, but before that it had predicted heat wave conditions in North West Rajasthan, South UP, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Jharkhand till June 10.

Director of the Meteorological Department Mrityunjay Mohapatra has predicted that the monsoon may reach central and north India on June 15.
