Rajasthan Politics: Madan Rathore Sanskar Remark Sparks Row With Hanuman Beniwal

Rajasthan BJP President Madan Rathore's comments on political values have triggered a massive political storm. RLP's Hanuman Beniwal and Congress leaders are now questioning the BJP's own conduct, citing viral audios and controversial statements by ministers.

The political atmosphere in Rajasthan has intensified following a late-night press conference by Rajasthan BJP President Madan Rathore. On Wednesday, around 11 PM, Rathore addressed the media at his residence in Jaipur, making sharp remarks about the 'Sanskar' or values of certain politicians. This statement has specifically targeted Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) supremo Hanuman Beniwal, leading to a fierce exchange of words between the two parties. While the BJP is questioning the conduct of opposition leaders, Hanuman Beniwal has retaliated by sharing old videos and audios of BJP leaders to expose their own conduct, while meanwhile, senior Congress leaders have also jumped into the fray, criticizing the ruling party's stance.

Madan Rathore's Sharp Attack on Political Vocabulary

During his press conference, Madan Rathore expressed deep concern over the declining standards of political discourse. He stated that the vocabulary used by politicians has reached an extremely low level. Rathore compared the behavior of some politicians to that of criminals, saying that just as a goon or a super-goon earns money through extortion, some politicians are trying to earn applause by using abusive language. He specifically mentioned Hanuman Beniwal, stating that it's a matter of shame that Beniwal's name is included in the list of politicians. Rathore accused Beniwal of calling all members of the cabinet 'fools' and referring to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma as a 'maha-murkh' (great fool). He condemned these remarks, questioning whether Beniwal doesn't consider them his ministers or his Chief Minister, while rathore suggested that Beniwal needs to acquire proper values and expressed worry that such actions would make the public hate politicians. He even went as far as suggesting that the media should ban such politicians to ensure the purification of politics, adding that the public would eventually teach them a lesson.

Hanuman Beniwal's Four-Point Retaliation

In response to Madan Rathore's 'Sanskar' remark, Hanuman Beniwal launched a series of attacks on social media. Within 24 hours, Beniwal posted four consecutive tweets on his X account, targeting the BJP leadership. In his first tweet, he raised the issue of a viral audio involving Rajasthan's Cooperative Minister Gautam Kumar Dak. Beniwal shared a clip of the audio, claiming that while he edited out the most offensive parts to maintain public dignity, the question remains for the BJP leadership whether this represents their party's values, while his second tweet featured a screenshot of a newspaper report regarding the same viral audio of Minister Gautam Dak, again questioning the values of the BJP under the leadership of CM Bhajanlal Sharma.

Allegations of Commission and Insults to Teachers

Beniwal's third tweet directly tagged Madan Rathore, questioning why the BJP State President was acting as a shield for a party MLA accused of taking a 40 percent commission in exchange for MLA funds. He asked if protecting a corrupt MLA was part of the BJP's 'Sanskar'. In his fourth and final tweet of the series, Beniwal shared a video of the Rajasthan Education Minister. In the video, the minister is seen calling teachers 'fools' and 'stupid' in front of the media. Beniwal argued that by saying this, the minister insulted the entire education system and forgot the limits of language due to the arrogance of power. He concluded that those who behave in such a manner have no right to lecture others on dignified conduct.

Congress Joins the Criticism Against BJP

The controversy has also seen participation from the Congress party. Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, a cabinet minister in the former Ashok Gehlot government, reacted to Madan Rathore's statements. Khachariyawas defended Hanuman Beniwal, stating that Beniwal was fighting for the rights of saints. He questioned Rathore's silence on the viral audios of BJP ministers using abusive language. Khachariyawas specifically pointed to the conduct of Gautam Dak, asking if this was the BJP's definition of 'Nari Shakti Vandan' (respecting women's power), while he challenged Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Madan Rathore to show the true character of the BJP to the people of Rajasthan, adding that if he obtained the full audio, he would release it publicly. The political battle continues to escalate as both sides trade allegations over morality and political ethics.
