Jaipur: Cyber ​​police stations will soon be established in all the districts of the state for effective prevention of cyber crime and to provide security to the general public from cyber threats. For this, the creation of 480 new posts has been approved. According to official sources, the Home Department has issued administrative and financial approval for the necessary human resources and equipment for these police stations. Cyber ​​police station is already functioning in Jaipur. For the remaining 32 revenue districts, the state government has approved the creation of a total of 480 new posts as per 15 new posts per police station. One post each for Deputy Superintendent of Police, Inspector of Police, Constable Driver, Information Assistant and Programmer/Data Analyst, three posts of Sub Inspector of Police, two posts of Head Constable and five posts of constable have been approved in each police station.

2.47 crore sanctioned for setup

Along with this, financial approval of about two crore 47 lakh rupees has also been given for various resources and equipment required for these new police stations. Guidelines have also been prepared for the operation of these police stations. Let us inform that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in the budget of the financial year 2022-23, with the aim of preventing cyber crimes, strengthening the security of digital eco-system from cyber threats and making the public aware, Center for Cyber ​​Security in the state and in all the districts of the state. Cyber ​​Police Station was announced.
