DCGI approves drug after clinical trial

These clearances have been given after the successful completion of the third clinical trial. This third phase was carried out on 220 patients infected with corona from December 2020 to March 2021, and during this period, it was found that the oxygen dependence of the hospitalized patients decreased.

DRDO scientist Dr Anant Narayan said, 'We did its first test at CCMB Hyderabad, after that we asked Drug Control to approve the clinical trial. In the trial we have seen that the corona patient benefited greatly. After testing, Phase 2 was done properly and in Phase 3 we did a very large scale experiment.

DRDO has given Dr. Combined drug with Reddy's Laboratories

DRDO's Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences, ie, INMAS, was launched by DRDO at Hyderabad. Is designed in collaboration with Dr Reddy's Laboratories.

Patients will be cured in 7 days with this medicine

The Ministry of Defense states that 2-DG is a generic molecule and is similar to glucose, so its production will be easier and the drug will be made available in a larger scale in the country. Doctor Anant Narayan said, 'We are working to bring this drug in the market as soon as possible. This medicine comes in the form of powder and is dissolved in water. After giving it twice a day in the morning and evening, patients are recovering in about seven days.

Oxygen shortage will provide relief

Another big relief will come from the introduction of this drug in the market. Right now the oxygen is hit, it is claimed that after getting this medicine this problem will be reduced to a great extent as well as this drug will also reduce the number of hospital admission of Kovid infected patients. That is, the patient will be cured by staying at home only with the advice of the doctor.
