Crime In Bathinda / Rs 42 lakh looted from three youths staying in the hotel, the accused came in police uniform

Rs 42 lakh looted in Hotel Five Rivers located at Hanuman Chowk in Bathinda City. The incident took place at around 4.30 am on Saturday. The charges are against two people wearing police uniforms. He was accompanied by two other people in civil dress. The entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in the hotel.

In the complaint given to the police, Patiala resident Gurpreet Singh, Faridkot resident Varinder Singh and Ludhiana resident Nishan Singh said that they were staying in hotel room number 203 and 204. He had 42 lakh rupees, which he had to give to a person from Jaipur. Four people came in the night, two of whom were wearing police uniforms. He took money from them and took both of them with him. After going some distance, they got away from the car on Malout road and fled.

Youths had to send money abroad

Police Station Civil Line in-charge Harvinder Singh Sara told that the incident of robbery has come to the fore in the hotel. Two youths from Patiala and Faridkot were staying in the hotel. An agent was also with him. He had to give money to a young man from Jaipur, who was about to go to Canada. That money was to be handed over to someone in Canada, but due to some reason the young man could not go to Canada. The incident took place with the youths staying in the hotel.

The CCTV installed in the hotel is being scrutinized. There is no trace of the accused so far. Although the accused are clearly visible in the CCTV, but they are not being identified. How much was the money, it cannot be confirmed yet, but both the youths have given an amount of Rs 42 lakh. The matter is being investigated from every angle, soon the incident will be solved.
