Luna 25 Mission: There has been a technical flaw in Russia's Moon Mission Luna-25 before landing. Russia's space agency Roscosmos said that during the investigation of the Luna-25 mission before landing on the moon on Saturday, it came to know about the 'emergency'. Roscosmos told that according to local time, thrust was done to send Luna into orbit at 2.10 pm. During this, an emergency situation arose at the automatic station. Because of this the maneuver of the mission could not be done.

Roscosmos said that the Luna-25 spacecraft encountered an 'unusual situation' before going into orbit for landing. Luna-25 spacecraft is going to land on the Moon's South Pole on Monday. This part of the moon has not been investigated much. Scientists believe that a large amount of water is stored in the form of ice at this place. Apart from this, many precious metals are also present here. Russia is returning to the moon once again after 47 years through the Luna-25 mission.

Fault Checking

The Russian Space Agency issued a statement saying, "An unusual situation occurred at the automatic station during the operation. Due to this, the maneuver could not be done according to the specified parameters. It was told that the specialists are currently analyzing the situation. Apart from this, no other information has been given by the space agency. Luna-25 mission was launched on 11 August. If everything goes well, the spacecraft will land on the moon on 22 August.

Luna-25 captured the picture of the crater

Roscosmos told earlier that they have received the first results from Luna-25 spacecraft and they are being analyzed. The spacecraft also took a picture of the Moon's Ziman Crater, which was released by the space agency. Roscosmos told that this is the third deepest crater present in the southern hemisphere of the Moon. Its diameter is 190 kilometers, while its depth is eight kilometers.

The space agency said that from the data obtained so far, information has been received about the chemical elements in the lunar soil. The Luna-25 mission entered the Moon's orbit on Wednesday. For the first time after 1976, a Russian spacecraft has done this.
