Zoom News : Jul 28, 2021, 12:38 PM

After Mirabai Chanu Silver in weightlifting, India hasn’t witnessed its second medal yet. Looking at the coin India witnessed its two sides as P.V.Sindhu spun the wheel by progressing to the 16th round while the Indian Women’s Hockey team led by Rani Rampal lost 4-1 against Gold Medalist Great Britain.

As the Country celebrated Sindu’s second win in women’s badminton single against Hong Kong’s NY Cheung in straight sets: 21-9, 21-16 in little more than 30 minutes.

Other events that took place today were Archery, Tarundeep Rai presenting India won his first contest but unfortunately lost his second to Israel’s Itay Shanny 5-5 in the round of 32 of the men’s individual event. Out of dissension for medals, Arjun Lal Jat &  Arvind Singh grabbed the sixth position in Semi-finale of lightweight men’s double sculls in rowing with the impeccable timing of 6:24:41 creating Oymlpic record and history for India. Even though Indian Players haven’t won Gold yet but they sure have created history for the country and made us all proud. C.A.Bhavini Devi was the first Indian Fencer to represent the country at the Olympics, she won the first round but sadly lost the second. Her win didn’t matter but the glory she gave to her Country was worth a medal.
