Earthquake In Delhi-NCR: Strong earthquake tremors were felt in the national capital Delhi and many surrounding areas including NCR around 12.45 am on Monday. These sudden shocks late at night created chaos in the area. Frightened by the tremors, people came out of their homes. At present, the main epicenter of the earthquake was the Xinjiang region of China and there is no information about the damage after the earthquake. Apart from India and China, strong earthquakes have also occurred in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan and Nepal.

The tremors of the earthquake that occurred at around 11.45 pm were felt for a long time. This is the second earthquake of this year in the capital and its surrounding areas. There was a huge earthquake in Japan on the first day of the year in which many people died.

Southern Xinjiang remained the main center of China

According to the information released by the National Seismology Centre, the intensity of the earthquake that occurred tonight at 11.39 pm Indian time in China's southern Xinjiang was measured at 7.2 on the Richter scale. However, there is no news of any loss of life or property in the earthquake in China.

Earthquake occurred in Japan on the first day of the year

Earlier on January 11 also, earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR region. Earthquake tremors were also felt in Jammu and Kashmir. The intensity of this earthquake was measured at 6.1 on the Richter scale. Whereas the epicenter of the earthquake was in Faizabad, Afghanistan. Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR along with Jammu-Kashmir and Punjab. This earthquake occurred 220 kilometers below the surface in Afghanistan. These tremors were felt in many countries including Pakistan.

There was a powerful earthquake in Japan at the beginning of the new year. More than 70 people died in the massive earthquake that struck western Japan. Whereas in this natural disaster many buildings collapsed and people were buried under the debris. Earlier on January 3, tremors of 4.9 magnitude were felt in Ishikawa state of Japan and its surrounding areas. Earlier on the afternoon of January 1, there was a strong earthquake of 7.6 magnitude.
