The country may get its longest expressway by March 2023. This expressway being built from Delhi to Mumbai will be the longest expressway in India as well as in the world. On 16 September, the speed test of this expressway was done by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in Javra, Madhya Pradesh. He drove his car on the expressway at a speed of 170 km/h.

This expressway passing through 6 states is divided into 4 sections. At present, work is going on at a brisk pace on all the sections. It is expected that the work of this 1380 km long expressway can be completed by March 2023.
